So I was just browsing the site before work this morning and was noticing all of the different names people have chosen for their ID's. So I decided to post this journal so people can say what their name means or where they got it from. I know oldest question ever but it's also the easiest so just answer the damn thing. I guess I'll start off..

Soma= Soma was a metal said to last forever. It would never rust and would never lose its shape. Soma is also the Greek word for body, soul, spirit. Which to the Greeks the body contained the soul which was said to last forever and never die. Even when the body was gone the soul would keep on fighting. Soma was also the name for a potion that all of the ancient Alchemists knew and secured. A potion that was said to let someone live forever. This potion was also labeled 13.

13= My favorite number because it is the most misunderstood and has the largest history behind it. As mentioned, 13 was the number used for the Soma potion. A kind of Fountain of Youth in a beaker. The Alchemists knew that humanity would misuse this potion for evil, corruption, and power, therefore they hid its secret away. They were the ones who came up with the number 13 being evil. They figured if everyone thought it were evil, no one would want it. They would fear it. They indeed did fear it. For on one October, Friday the 13th, the Crusaders led a campaign against the Alchemists thinking that since they had control over such evil, they would use it against humanity. They did this on the 13th thinking it a good omen of them cancelling each other out. The moon was red that night most say. Thus, 13 became known to history as the "unlucky" number.
